League of Legends isn’t just one of the world’s biggest eSports: it’s also a massive multiplayer online game with millions of players, a diverse community, and an ever-expanding roster of champions. It’s also a popular platform for people of all backgrounds and ages to learn the game together, whether through its competitive ranked system or by watching the top teams compete in front of thousands of fans.
There’s a lot to learn from the game, from the champions themselves and their abilities to the massive item system that allows players to massively boost their champions’ power. Choosing which items to pick can be a huge decision, and optimizing these items is a critical part of becoming a better player.
However, this process can be stressful, tiring, and confusing. It can lead to an increase in a player’s overall emotional load, which can impact their performance and decision making in the game. It can even cause people to become less tolerant of the decisions made by others in the game, which can lead to toxic behavior.
In this Lecture, we will look at the different ways that players can reduce their emotional load while playing League of Legends and how they can improve their gameplay as a result. This lecture is intended for players who are dedicated to improving their gameplay to a competitive level (i.e., high school, collegiate, or pro). It will not be as helpful for casual players. 롤대리
