A major factor in deciding which country to move to as an expat is the cost of living. It covers the price of housing, local food and drink, clothing and electronics. Other costs to consider include the price of international schools and public healthcare. Those looking for the most affordable options should take into account the prices in smaller cities and up-and-coming tech hubs, where living expenses may be less than in major metropolises.
When it comes to working abroad, a good work-life balance is crucial for success. Choosing a location that offers co-working spaces, local sports clubs and other social activities can help to create an environment where you can maintain your work/life balance and make new friends. If you have a family to consider, you’ll want to choose a destination that also has good childcare and educational opportunities for children.
While there are many factors to take into consideration, the most important one is finding a place where you will feel at home and can build a life that supports your career goals and personal interests.
